    Owen Johnson

    Dr. Owen Johnson is a local to the Georgetown community where he has been serving his patients for the past 14 years at Indigo Vision Center. He is the son of Larry and Faye Johnson and the grandson of Doris Johnson and the late Winford Johnson, Manuel Cannon and Sarah Cannon.

    Dr. Johnson is a 1998 graduate from the University of Georgia. He continued his education at Nova Southeastern University in Florida. He graduated with honors in Doctorate studies, specializing in diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration and cataracts.

    Dr. Johnson owns Indigo Vision Center.  He is married to Mrs. Jennifer Johnson and they have 3 children, Cannon, Wyatt and Reese. He and his family are members of Duncan United Methodist church. He is involved in American Optometric Association, South Carolina Optometric Physician association, Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and works with the Lions club and Smith Medical clinic.

    Dr. Johnson takes pride in providing quality eye care and looks forward to handling all of you and your family’s eye care needs.

  • Dr.
    Barbara Horn

    Barbara L. Horn, O.D., was elected as a trustee to the American Optometric Association Board of Trustees in June 2011, served as AOA President 2019-2020 and currently serves on the AOA Executive Committee as Immediate Past President.

    Dr. Horn is a 1998 graduate of the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University and a past president of the Michigan Optometric Association (MOA). Dr. Horn is currently a member of the South Carolina Optometric Association and an associate member of the Michigan Optometric Association.

    Her awards include the 2021 American Optometric Student Association Founder's Award, 2020 Ferris State University Distinguished Alumni Award, 2019 EyeCare Business Game Changer Award, 2018 Vision Monday Most Influential Women in Optical, 2018 SCOPA Optometrist of the Year and the 2011 MOA Optometrist of the Year.  

    Dr. Horn also received the AOA's Young Optometrist of the Year Award in 2006 and the MOA's Young Optometrist of the Year Award in 2005.  She received the MOA Student of the Year Award in 1997 and the Ferris State University Pacesetter Award in 2007.

    She has two children, Brooke (17) and Mick (13) and is married to Mr. Patrick Thompson.
